Final year student of department of political science, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife has accused the institution of removing his name from the convocation list after paying for the convocation fee and other related payment
The student, Joshua Temitope Oladepo claimed he had compeleted all academic requirements for his degree and had even paid the mandatory convocation fee before before discovering that his name had been excluded from the official graduation list

Oladepo said he initially confirmed his name on the convocation portal when the University release the first batch of eligible graduates. According to him, the page later displayed a message stating that his name was “not yet on the convocation list”
He described the development as “a clear attempt to punish me for exercising my rights during Wike’s visit,”
